Default 2014 tc stereo upgrade after market

Can anyone recommend a unit or has anyone upgraded theirs? I'm open for suggestions?

i was looking at a JVC KW-NT310 for my tc. Navi, Bluetooth, and a bunch of other goodies. the NT300 got good reviews but not sure about this one.

Thanks I'll read up on it, do you know by any chance if you would still be able to use your existing steering controls with it?

Check out crutchfield.com, their prices are pretty decent and they sell the proper adapters to make your steering controls fully functional.

I'll be getting my Clarion nx702 installed Monday. They're dirt cheap right now because they're being discontinued. Full 7" nav system with tons of features.

According to the dealer it works with the audio controls as well.

I have a Kenwood, great unit but a bit pricey. Benefits is that it has Garmin NAV built in.

Just about any headunit will work with the controls if you get the adapter.

What did you do with your factory radio? Did you just replace it because it didn't have Nav?

Sorry for the late reply. The install has been going less than smoothly. It took two trips to the guy who installed it to get the speakers working properly. The vehicle mic isn't compatible and people say the mic on the clarion sounds really bad. Going to look at options for that one.

The unit is good other than that. Great nav, features.

Really needs a good set of speakers obviously. It really brings out the deficiencies in the stock speakers.

I wanted the unit because I was buying a car the way I wanted for once and wouldn't settle for a 2014 with a 2012 stereo. Plus sound quality.
