Default After-Market Amp no longer receives power?

This is the second time that I've had an amp stop receiving power in my car. The led does not turn on. All fuses that I've checked on the amp and on the cable are fine. The remote wire is good to go. It's grounded properly. This happened after having the battery unhooked, rehooked and a day of sitting outside. This is the second amp that this has happened. The sub is turned on within the head unit, in both connections, and under the sound options. Anyone know what could be causing this problem?

Electrical problems are almost 90% of the time bad grounds and blown fuses. Check for power off the wire going to the amp first with a multimeter.

Well the amp isn't receiving any power. The LED is off.... So wouldn't that mean it's not getting any power?

Pull the wire off the amp and test it for power. Then you can determine that you have no power to that wire and track it back to the battery looking for breaks and shorts or determine the amp is not working meaning a blown fuse on the amp itself or toasted amp internals.

Grounds are always a possibility if both those are good. Try another clean body location for ground.

I dont have a multimeter, this could be a problem. I'll try to borrow one from a buddy. But I would be shocked to have blown a second amp already. It's right gauge wire, and like I said after doing some work on my car with the battery disconnected, I'd have no idea why it blow....
