Howdy all,

I just picked up my second Scion, 2013 TC with the basic radio. I am looking for a touchscreen head unit that will play DVD ( nav unimportant ) and maintain all factory functions. Bluetooth calling/connection/streaming, steering wheel controls, ect. XM radio optional.

I understand I will need something like the Axxess to use my steering wheel controls, but I have not been in the market for a head unit in a while so I have no idea what it out there. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've been looking at the Pioneer AVH-P8400BH...it has DVD/bluetooth and optional XM or sirius and is backup camera ready. To my understanding you would have to use the Bluetooth mic that comes with the unit rather than the factory mic and you do have to use the Axxess ASWC (i beileve that's it) to be able to use the steering wheel controls. And there is a special bypass for the parking brake...i've heard the relay method won't work on this unit.

It's price it a little high, but it look awesome
