Anyone install a analog or digital engine temp gague?

The one thing I noticed is my 2012 doesn't have a temp gauge in the car only the idiot light on the dash. Not really a big deal but I like seeing the actual temp on a gauge, especially with a 4 cylinder car. In the past my wife had a 4 cylinder that over heated and blew the head gasket and all the other cars I have owned had an analog gauge that gave me an indication of what the engine temps where running at all times.

Has anyone installed one and if so where in the interior did you put it! I'm looking but don't want see where I can put one with it looking out of place...

Any ideas or photo's of one done would be appreciated, I really don't feel like doing a pillar gauge, but that is an option as well I suppose.

You could always install a Scangauge, that's what I did. And you get so much more info as well.Attachment 38950

Does the scan gauge give you the water temp on the engine? Will take a look at it.

I was also looking at the space below the round ac/temp control knobs in the TC, that pocket there I never use. Will have to measure and see if I could mount a pod there with some type of gauge, a round one there wouldn't look bad because it would match the round ac/temp controls.

Yes, the Scangauge will display dozens of different readings.

Cool story bro, 2tCornot2tC why not go troll someone else's thread? That seems to be a hobby of yours.

You'll find it extremely easy...hooks up by plugging into the OBDII port, then run cable to your location. I fished my cable behind the dash and through a small hole I drilled, then used 3M tape to fasten it to the dash.

Good luck!!!!
