Default help with droid x?

my ipod comes up fine, but the droid x won't. i thought it was supposed to be ipod/usb?

no

but your phone would need to be switched to mass storage device, i think you need to turn on debug mode in your phone.

Menu//settings//applications//development to turn on debug. When you connect it pull down notications bar and change the usb mode if it doesn't automatically. Never tried to hook it up through usb. I just usb headphone jack and pandora

thanks! i'll try the debug mode and see what happens. I have the aux cable as well but i think it sounds better via usb.

When used as a Mass Storage Device, all the files on the card will confuse the head unit. Depending on the folder structure, it may or may not work. Buy a USB flash drive =P
