How do I remove Dealer Sealer?

Hi there!

I have a 2016 tC that I bought in May of 2016 (almost one year with my baby!) and long story short, when I bought it I had to turn it back in for 3 weeks because they kept screwing up paint on it from when I first purchased the car (bought it at night and didn't notice it had paint issues).

So, since they screwed up THREE times they made a car payment for me and put their clear coat sealer thing on the exterior and interior for free.

My questions are:
1. what is that stuff on the interior called?
2. how can I remove it so that I can either paint or do vinyl on the trim?

When you touch it isn't greasy per se, but you can feel a little bit of it on your fingers. I tried putting vinyl on it, but it basically just slides right off of it.

Any help is extremely appreciated!!!

I'd surmise it's some sort it silicone product. I would try isopropyl alcohol.
