So ever since I've been able to drive...I have always had this uncanny ability to pick the worst sunshades....(too big, too small, doesn't stay up, falls apart, etc.) you name it...it's probably happened to me.

So with that said, when I first got my tc2 I asked my gf's aunt (who works at Toyota Corp Torrance) to look out for a scion (preferably tc) specific sunshade, in hopes that I can finally find the perfect protection to keep the sun from shinning through my windshield when I'm parked. I asked in Oct 2010, and still nothing.

Now that I finally got my tc2 tinted, all I need is the perfect sunshade....

does anyone have recommendations? what brand? where to buy? etc.

It's custom made for the car and supposedly they are available for the TC2. I'd like to see it on an actual car though.

 

I found this one on Amazon and the pics are inside a tC2. Has anyone tried it? I'm thinking about ordering it since the sun has already decided to turn my car into an oven. A friend has one for his xB that looks to be the same brand and has worked well for him since 2009.

 

FWIW, i just went to my local wal-mart and got the generic sun shades. its the one that is two pieces, grey on the outside and black on the inside. i got the large size since it said "Scion tC" as one of the "it fits on this vehicle"...though i assumed it was the tC1...it still works the same and covers the entire windshield nicely

 

i'm using a free pala casino sunshade i got at the Asian American expo. i stopped using it because birds starting dumping on my windshield.
