Changing clock in 2016 tC?
 

I'm a new owner and I like to think I'm not stupid. I read the manual and I know how to change the time..but it doesn't work. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong or the buttons are broken.

The 2016 has two H and M buttons right next to the clock on the dash. The manual simply says to use them to change the time. However, it doesn't do anything. I've tried pressing, holding, car on, car off etc. The time just doesn't change. Is there some super secret stop I've missed or is it faulty already?

You have to press them really hard. Not violently as to break them, but you need to press them really far down. Might help to use a small screwdriver (wrapped in a towel) or something if you're having problems.

Right you are. That worked. You have to push and hold surprisingly hard. I didnt think to even try pushing that hard in fear of breaking it. Thanks.

Np, easy fix. I kind of like it as you know they won't change if you accidentally bump it.
