I'm doing my headlights n taillights this weekend. I dig the clear reflectors in the headlights, did you have to buy replacements for those?

Yeah I left the outter part of headlight clear just the housing in a black hammered finish. Then the tails of course are blacked out !!!!!

It was pretty easy just time consuming and had to be careful.

I'm ordering coilovers soon, debating between raceland and KSport.

 

yea i know what you mean on time consuming lol did you bake them or use a heat gun? well you have time cuz raceland coils havent came out yet

 

I baked them.
The racelands came out for tc2 on their website. But the huge difference between the two is raceland the spring is compressed to get the desired ride height. KSports you move the lower mounting bracket up, plus u can compress the spring to get lower. But your not putting a ton of stress on the spring like you are on the raceland coilovers.

 

KSports, there are tons of adjustments and dampening control. I want the ride to be luxury and low,
Not low and bouncing like a kid in a ball pit at McDonald's

 

lol!! yea i know what you mean...o i didnt know they were out already. Well i love my Ksports i havent had any problems with them and your righ you can adjust them in alot of ways but they are a lil more pricey

come to think about it i think i can go with 18's and compress the springs on mine to get the look i want cuz i havent done that =) i might try that out

 

Exactly. With KSports you can compress the spring and move the lower bracket up til it bottoms out. But your messing with the quality of the ride. Raceland it's compress spring or nothing. I was thinking about getting xxr 527s and the racelands or Tein S techs or option B just KSports and no rims for now.

 

hmmm thats a tough decision...id say if you want those rims go for the racelands and the XXRs =)
