J2 Catback Exhaust
Hey, everyone! Just joined Scion life and decided I'd put this up. I've had my 2011 Black Scion Tc automatic for just over a year and have recently started modding it. I Noticed the J2 catback exhaust on eBay from a bunch of different sellers at a ridiculously low price. My only hesitation was that there is absolutely zero reviews, videos, etc.
Anyways decided to bite the bullet and be the guinea pig to test it out.
Shipping was crazy fast (only took a 2 days to revieve), but i guess coming from California to Vegas its expected.I've had it for 2 days and I can say it is very loud. Its my first aftermarket exhaust so I didn't know what to expect, but I am very pleased! It is very similar in design to the ARK Grip exhaust and from what I can tell it has a very similar sound. It does have a bit of a drone at lower speeds, but cruising on the freeway its just fine especially with the radio on. The sound is deap with no rasp. Like a mix between evo 3 and TRD axelback.
Punching the gas from a stop gives me more torque steer than I had before. Idk if that's a good thing or not, but hey at least its making power. So far I definitely love it. Gives my car a mean look and a mean growl.
I'll post more of an update once I've had it a bit longer and a video when I get the chance.
Here's a couple pics until then

Sooo... Update on the J2 Catback
I've had it a little over a week now and everything has been pretty good so far. Its loud, actually has quite a bit of rasp, and at idle vibrates my car more than it use to. I tried to get a good video of the sound but my only camera is my phone and its not so good... I took a quick video today, but I can hear a weird rattle at startup and when I give it the beans. Not sure where its coming from, if somebody has an idea let me know please. I'll still post a video for those that are interested, but you might be disappointed.
Had it jacked up and checked the bolts and everything seemed fine, but I honestly don't know what could cause the rattle...
On the plus side I just installed some Protuning "Amazon Special" lowering springs if anyone would be interested in a review of another cheap priced mod. So far they look great and dropped everything about an inch and a half. I will put a review on them after they settle and get an alignment.
That's all for know, let me know wat you think

I think you're right on the license plate. Also that was cold start, it sounds a much better once its warmed up.
As for the styling, I love how the tip pokes out a bit, but to each their own
Thanks for the feedback guys!
