Ahh... I get it. I was totally leaving the shocks out of the equation.
And if you don't have the sub-assembly with the bearings (top of the strut tower) clocked properly, you will have issues. I am about to fork out $115 a piece to replace the worn ones because I didn't reinstall them correctly when I put my H-Techs in. Some other people have done the same thing (with S-Tech and TRD springs). It's easy to do. Grr...

I have a few ?'s,
Could you explain exactly how you cut the springs and how much you cut out?
Also, how is the ride with the stock struts since you've cut the springs?
Thanks man, the wait is killing me for coils, you make me wanna fire up the cutoff wheel.

@cement: yes its a home depot lip (bottom garage door seal by FrostKing)
@greenbean: 1. FRONT SPRING: from the end point on the bottom of the spring i measured it across (that's 1 coil that i cut off) then i measured it again from end point to a half (that's .5 coil off) REAR SPRING: same exact thing from end point of the bottom then going up 1 coil.
Front: 1.5 inch cut
Rear: 1.0 inch cut
2. The ride is super smooth & this is without the bumpstops on the front suspension. Even though you cut the BS in half it'll still have that bumpy feel.

New SPL amp & JBL sub with a $50 used box!! lol
Relocated Lisence plate to the grill & added nylon plugs to plug up the nasty holes. I used stock oem bracket & the parts of the tilt bracket to hold up my lisence plate.
I also got a key hole plug & it looks awesome!
