Default My 2011 Scion tC mods

I just did this tonight more mods to come.
These are the Spec D tuning LED brake lights Euro black clear lens.

This is the way that the box came.

As you can see there is a hole for the second back up light now all I have to do is order the other LED bulb and wire it up i cant wait!!

There was nowhere in the instructions about what these were and what there purpose was.
I ended up connecting my lights without them and they work fine.
The only thing that I can think of is that they are some type of resistors so that you will not get hyper flashing
but if you already have the electronic flasher then you have no need to install these.
Please let me know if I am incorrect.

The instructions to be honest IMO are garbage first of all it has nothing to do with the Scion tC i
have no clue what car there showing on top of that you could hardly see anything the copy machine
that they used must have been from 1987 with the ink almost finished.
And even on top of that the diagram
for the wiring has nothing to do with the scion the color match that they tell you to do so that you wont
blow a fuse does not exist, A big FAIL on there part on that.

The light output on the parking lights are very good on the clear lens,
I cant say how much brighter they are then on the smoked out lens but come on guys
if your going to get smoked lenses then you know your going to loose out on some light output.
Now this is something that I don't understand about some of the comments on these lights in the daytime.
The parking lights which are those white lines are good light output but in the day of course they are not
going to be as bright as in the night. That said you should only be turning on your parking lights for three reasons
1. The weather is bad or raining which means the sun is blocked and your lights will show better visibility.
2. It's dawn and starting to get dark so you can turn on your parking lights before you switch on your headlights
which once again means the sun is disappearing giving the lights better visibility. And
3. It's nighttime no sun. your not meant to turn on your parking lights on a bright sunny day.
Now if were talking about the LED stop lights and LED turn signals yes they are bright in the sun and at night.
As I said before i cant compare to the smoked lenses but you don't have to be a genius to know the clear lenses will be brighter

Your license plate LEDs are SOO bright man. Which ones did you get? I have some super basic ones because nothing else would really fit into the housing.

I was actually talking about the LED bulbs you have in your hatch that illuminate your rear license plate, not the front strips you put in to the lower grill. Sorry, I should have been more specific. The ones I have are a bit dimmer than the stock incandescent bulbs and it annoys me.

Lookin good! Is it possible to get a video of the taillights during the daytime? The question of those tails are their brightness during the day, not the night
