Cool Near Future Tc owner----1 week away baby :)

Sorry for reposting this here but I was getting no love in the "introduce yourself" forum section so here it is:

Hello everyone, I just went to my local Scion Dealership and put a deposit down for a 2013 MGM Scion Tc. The car is already at the dealership but I have to wait a week because they are installing; fog lights, a spoiler, heated charcoal grey leather seats with magnetic grey colour stitching and a cargo cover (I know the cargo cover is not really considered an installation). I did not even test drive the car (I don't think anyone else did either since it only had 7km (4.34 miles) on it) but I know I will like it. Anyway, I traded in my 2009 Silver Streak Mica Toyota Tacoma access cab 4x4 for the Tc. I simply wanted to trade because I was getting bored of the truck and although I never abused it, I was always OCD/stressed out after taking my truck off road worrying if anything was damaged/scratched. Don't get me wrong, the Tacoma is an awsome truck (the best IMO) but since I mostly do city/highway driving I knew a car would be better for me. However, I will buy a new Tacoma in the not too distant future but I am waiting at least until the rumored 2015 complete redesign comes out. And if you are still reading this, you are probably wondering why I chose a Tc. Well I chose to buy a Tc because I like the styling and most of all, I love the features. There are very few cars on the market which have as many features as the Tc does at such a reasonable price (actually I don't think there are any). However, above all else I chose the Scion because of the legendary Toyota reliability behind it.

PS I did look at the FRS and although I think it is a gorgeous vehicle, I do not think it is a practical daily driver.

Oh and I forgot to mention my first so called "mod". I just ordered front and rear weathertech digitalfit floor mats. Future mods will probably only be a pioneer DVD deck and i probably wont do anything else besides some snow tires.

While I've never been a fan of people not test driving cars before they buy it, I'm sure you'll enjoy your TC =) Post up some pics when you get it!

Congrats man! I'm sure you will love it. As a 3 time TC owner I will tell you reliability is top notch. A side from brakes and tires (and a transaxle seal on my 08'.... i never had ONE problem with any of my TCs.

Welcome aboard.

Although that would be awsome, I would probably wait until my warranty expired if I did it at all.
