i know my car is a tc1 but i am sitting on the trd springs and for a few years i had terrible tread life on the inner rear tires. the first set of tires i had the nitto neo gens and they got me 20,000 life which i was happy with out of those. then after a flat tire i put on nankang ns2's because i was in a bind with the flat and they were dirt cheap. oh by the way the nittos finally went because the inner tire was bald on all 4 tires really bad causing the flat. anyways got the nankangs and an alignment and went on my way. 2 months down the road i started noticing terrible road vibrations. took the car back in and got another alignment. still didnt help with the vibrations and after a few months of just dealing with it and about 10,000 miles on the nankangs they were completely bald on the inner tire and needed to be replaced. finally took it to a different shop and had 4 continental dws tires installed and another alignment. this time the guy brought out the sheet for me to show me how bad the alignment was off. problem fixed but will keep my eye on it just in case it is just going to keep happening. while i was at that shop i asked about a camber kit and he told me it wasnt needed. the were able to align the car almost perfect by specifications. if you arent dropped that much with only 18 inch rims you probably wont need a camber kit.
