Request: DYI How To Install...

That is for the door inserts. Make sure to not F#ck up your door panels like I did to mine!!! I need to take the whole dam thing back apart again to fix some stuff. My passenger window switch broke a clip and keeps coming loose so I'm going to glue it into place. The leather also looks bad on the edge so I m going to cut it more. And the drivers side switch is not screwed in all the way so I need to tighten it. In the end though, I think it was worth it because it looks awesome. What colors/patterns did you get?

That is for the shift boot, e-brake boot and arm rest.
The installation for the auto shift boot is different then those instructions because there is no shift boot in there from the factory. I removed the plastic around it like they did in the instructions but then I unscrewed the ****, slid the boot over the gear selector thing and pushed the plastic back into place. The force of the plastic being clipped in did not require me to mount it at all.
If you got the padded armrest like me you may have to trim the foam a bit for it to fit. You will easily be able to tell by looking at it.
For the E-Brake boot I just took it out, there is a rectangular frame it is stitched on to which clips into the plastic. I just slid the boot over the stock black one, around the frame and clipped it back into the plastic. It will be a bit difficult to get the rectangular frame to fit back into it's clips because it is thicker now with the stock boot and the redline one but it will go eventually.
I did not get then handle but i imagine it just slides on.
There are many different ways to remove the panel which the stock door inserts are attached to. I found the cleanest way to do this was to use a dremel with a sander attachment to basically sand off the plastic welds.
When I re-installed I used screws and then hot glue to secure them in place. If you destroy some of the holes the screws would go into then just use glue or something. Also, make sure the screws are not too long. I got ones longer than suggested and i barely missed going through my door panel. Take time and caution on the door inserts and you will be fine. If you run into a problem don't just try to find the quickest way around it. Stop and think for a second or just ask us. I also had to trim some leather where the window switch bezels clip into so that they would snap back down correctly.
I know some of that will be confusing if you have not had the car apart yet but once you remove the pieces it will all make sense. Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions.
