Default REV LIMIT

I know racing on the streets isn't good but I just want to know how high on the rev rpm is safe I see people reving up to 6-7k on the stock tc2 motor it feels when I get up to 4k the engine revs to high I don't want to ruin my engine by pushing it to 4 1/2 to 5k but once I turbo my car in 8 months those high revs wont be to much of a concern. Any suggestions would be great thanks.

Actually performing high revs with a turbo is even more of a concern. The reason being is that you're using an engine that's not sport tuned and those high revs increases the psi in an engine that was not designed for racing let alone racing with a turbo. Remember the tc2 only uses a Camry engine.
