Short Shifter Differences

Anybody know why no one makes a short shifter for the tC2 that doesn't reduce the height on the shifter? does it have something to do with the reverse gear lockout linkage? I'm swapping a tC2 trans into my tC1 and I'm looking for a short shifter, just wanted something with a shorter height since I got spoiled with my Dr. Isotope short shifter. Thanks guys.

why not just use a quick shift kit like the trd ..get shorter throws and the shifter will stay at the same height

This is what i did and it reduced the throw ~33% and it installs in a 10 minutes. Combo it with a shorter all metal **** from WC Lathe Werks and its a killer package.
