Eibach sway bars!!!
Ok, I just installed my front sway bar and had my rear installed for about a week. The rear made a pretty good improvement, the front was a huuuuuuugggggeee difference! I highly recommend them. I now have go kart handling
I think eibach makes them for TRD. And mine has the three settings as well, but I found them on autoanything.com for 355, minus 50$ for 4th of July sale, and another 15% off because it didn't recognize my computer and thought I was a first time purchaser from autoanything. Plus free shipping, so it worked out to 320 or something including tax and shipping
I just put it in the middle. The other two were to reduce understeer or oversteer, but they were for specific conditions, i.e. bumpy, slippery, wet roads, or for the track. Since I dont track my car, I just went for the middle. Still a huge difference, and I get the best of both worlds. Install was super easy with the DIY videos from scionedge.com!
I bought the eibach sportline package. It came with the sport line springs, and both sway bars.. it was 530 or so for all of it I haven't installed the front sway bar yet but i can notice a big difference with the rear one on.. How hard was it to do the front bar?
That depends, if you have a manual you don't. It wasn't too hard and scion edge has a DIY on the website. I did it in my drive way on jackstands in about 2 hours by myself, and I took my time.
One thing I didn't do and wish I did was wrap the bar where the bushings will go with the yellow gas pipe fitting Teflon tape. You can get this in the plumbing section at the hardware store for like $5. Someone posted on the forums here to do so and then out some grease and then the bushing. Mine creak like hell over bumps now and I have to take off the bar and re-do it.
