Raceland Coilovers

I'm thinking about investing in some Raceland Coilovers.

Can anyone give me some insight on what kind of performance changes I can expect to see/feel?

Invest in better coils a couple rides here have them but they don't go too low maxed out and I hear the ride is harsh

Been on them for a month on a 2014 Monogram.

Ride: Comfortable daily semi-smooth roads. Corners much flatter, damping/rebound a bit soft, BUT the float over the crest of a hill is gone.

Rating: 6 out of 10. Why? Because bang for buck! For a tad bit more than springs, you get all 4 springs that are "adjustable" (being as once you hit the lowest setting, you'll never raise back up because why would you want too?), 2 struts and 2 shocks. Ride is pretty good, handling improves greatly over OEM.

Ease of install: 5 out of 10. You need to reuse your front OEM strut mounts so dismantling the OEM strut assembly is required. (spring compressor optional depending on your experience with suspension and tools available) And the rears you need to cut half of the OEM shock boot/mount off and reuse it. Then put the spacers in the correct order (but instructions will show you exactly how to do so).

Pictures of max lowered:

Keep in mind, two things. 1: I am on OEM 18" wheels. and 2: The fronts have the bottom lock ring removed for an extra 1/2" drop. The rears are also single collar sitting on perches with OEM upper spring pad. If I could get the front a little lower with out rewelding the mounts up higher, I would have maxed the rear with just springs, no collars/perches. But I didn't want to risk destroying brand new coilovers.

anyone tried the ultimo coilovers from raceland?

There are no Ultimo's for the tC2. Only tC1. I talked to Scott (I think that's who it was) at Raceland before buying the normal tC2 coils.
