Scion tC Brake Clunk?
A clunk coming from the rotor, there's no way to insert bolts into the holes....
These are Aftermarket rotors... help anyone? *Moved to Correct Forum by Administrator Sticky Where to Post Your Question ______________________________ |
Those threaded holes are to assist removing stuck disks from rusty hubs. They're not mounting holes. The clunk might be a bad wheel bearing (if tightening the lug nuts to 76 ft lbs doesn't stop it.)

The 'clunk' looks like it's from the rotors sliding on the hub. This is normal as there are no rotor bolts to secure the rotors to the hubs. You shouldn't have any clunking with the wheel properly torqued as that's what holds the rotor on. Double check all the suspension bolts and especially the endlinks if you're noticing any clunking, but the rotor behavior is totally normal.
