Pretty sure were just going to use disaster as he has been driving with our v1 brace, figured we can do a blind test and see if he can tell the difference of each brace

Prototype is done. We're still working on the Jig and fixturing system but once that's done we'll build a second brace and get a test car back in to confirm fitment. Then the blind testing will begin!

Anyone happen to know the factory torsional rigidity rating for the Tc2?

Evan, even if you got that one number, you don’t have the equipment to check it after installing the brace. So, if you had the equipment to test the torsional rigidity of the car, you could get it yourself… therefore, that question is pointless and useless to you. Would you e-mail a photo of what you’ve made to jodele [at] hotmail? Thanks

BTW...you could start testing right now...no need for the jig to test proof of concept.

Ahh figured you'd know it =( , no worries I'll dig around and see if someone has it before I call in a favor from a friend... who has a fixture similar to this




Fitment is what worries me about that brace, not it's performance ;) so, once we get that 3axis jig dialed in I'll get a Tc2 back in and we'll confirm fitment and do some testing... preferably when the roads aren't wet from rain >.<

I'll email your some pictures when i get back into shop either tomorrow or Wednesday... might end up doing it completely out of round stock tho... that filler piece looks a little funky imho
