Also the seat was back in its locked position. You don't sacrifice anything when you put this on. As for my knowledge on why I know this design is solid...
1.) Testing
2.) years of experience doing this
3.) Proper materials
It is hard for someone who has never used the product or assisted in the build to say if it works or not so just wait for the reviews to come back and until please keep speculation to a minimum With that being said I appreciate the attention this is getting and am very excited to see where these braces go in the world! We are trying to keep parts at a low cost to make your cars even better and I can say I have had a blast working with scions!

Awesome! Can't wait! I think these 2 others will seriously help the flex in the upper part of the car.

Are the x-braces not being made anymore? They aren't listed on the TB website.

How much of a difference in performance is there between the X-brace and the straight trunk brace?

I wonder why the need for redesign when they had already been tested?

Interested to see reviews of this on an autox course! You guys seem to be coming out with a ton of parts lately!

I've never tried the rear strut bar without the x-brace, but combined they work great. Car was much flatter on the track last weekend. Didn't tripod once.
