Default TEIN Springs on the Scion tCII?!

NonStopTuning now offers TEIN springs for the entire line of Scion cars, including the hot new tCII: http://www.nonstoptuning.com/TEIN/pTEINscion.html

Any of you ScionLifers have yours dropped on TEIN? If so, please share your feedback and reviews with us here.

Many thanks!

Our pulleys for the tC are listed on our website, including our CR-Lite Crank Pulley for the tCII. This has been a VERY popular item for us recently and we have had trouble keeping it in stock. More pieces are in production.

Please keep this thread on topic and be sure to share your feedback with us if you own TEIN springs for the tC.

We have a dedicated thread for our pulleys and you can also contact us by phone and/or email.

Thanks again, best of luck with all your projects!

I have no complaints with my Tein S-tech's. They were easy to install, car sits perfect on them as well. The ride quality only suffered very little on normal day to day driving. They did, however, tighten up the car in corners, which is a plus considering how well it rides on a normal road.

Really liked to get a set of springs but I am hesitating due to the camber issues in the rear. Any solutions for that yet?

Actually after doing some research I've come to find out that the Crawford Performance car is on Tein Super Racing Coilovers not springs....

http://www.topspeed.com/cars/scion/2...e-ar99151.html

and

http://dsportmag.com/specials/spl4/tracking-the-tc

They even mention in this thread that it's on coils...

I wanted to say that too but didn't want to mess with NST's business.

The camber is not that big of a deal. I have 2k+ miles after lowering and I haven't noticed any significant wear on the rear tires yet.

That’s what you think because you never got a chance to drive a tC2 that has had the rear camber set right…it is jaw dropping how much better the car handles with the rear camber set right.

Does this mean that you have had yours corrected? I really want a solution before I get into a set of springs.

I was referring more to tire wear. I already know I need to camber corrected in the rear, I can feel it. After auto-x I learned that stock tires are garbage, and the rear end is way to loose. Driving in normal condition, any imperfection in the road, you can feel the rear playing around.

Kind of lost as to how those shims are going to correct the camber.
