TRD Big Brakes - What do you do with the rears?
I have no patience for stupid…you post a stupid question, you will get a stupid answer right back. That’s not arrogance…that just being a smart @$$. Now if you post technically wrong information, you will be proven wrong. I do not say anything if I don’t know or I don’t care. If you’ve been told wrong information and you were not smart enough to recognize that that information was wrong and spread it here, you will be called out about it. Just because somebody told you something, that does not make it right or correct. If you can’t handle the shame of posting that wrong answer, don’t…or be able to prove your answer. If I have the time, I don’t mind answering questions, but you have to ask…do not tell me! I have a problem with people saying this or that is so when it is not.
I did not say that you are arrogant because of your reply on my question if you are the "son" in that article.
That question is to confirm the fact that the one who are using the "2tcornot2tc" is indeed the "son", who in FACT, got the TC2 as a gift from daddy, who is still in college and therefore not yet an engineer. That is arrogant and know it all posts claiming that he did every single mod (I designed this, that... I did this, that, blah, blah) of the gift without the help of DADDY. Pathetic poser IMHO.
Poser =
Look who's stupid now.
Now go lick b@lls of your DADDY.
Or better yet, go get photography lessons. I'm pretty sure that's all you did while DADDY's moding his GIFT to you.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

This is the reason I have respect for you and your father, and worry about other people in the Scion community.
So, let's say I want to get a Wilwood 6 Piston Front/4 Piston Rear BBK's originally designed for the 1st gen tC and ship them out to you (2tCornot2tC) to design and make custom brackets for the tC2 (2013) would you do them? I love uniformity and performance, and having just the front brakes upgraded doesn't quite make it for me and I want this car for street racing and also for show so having both front and rear kits is a must in this particular case.

My favorite brand of BBK is Rotora, Brembo comes in second place but they have become so common lately that I don't look at them much and I like the Slotted/Drilled rotors and Brembo don't offer them so my only options are Rotora, Stop Tech and Wilwood. The reason I mentioned the Wilwood units it's because they already have a kit like the one I mentioned for the 1st gen tC, I honestly don't know how much different they are in the brake and suspension department form the 2nd gen but I was guessing that because of that reason only maybe was going to be easier to make them fit. But I personally would go for Rotora on this case if I can find them. But my question remains, don't matter what I get, would you design and make the brackets for them once every measurement and careful calculations have been done?
What models of Stoptech and Rotor sizes works for the tC2 with these brackets and also the emergency brake is eliminated with BBK's?
I used 355 X 32 AeroRotors up front and 345 X 28 AeroRotors in back. My BBK gives a 33% brake torque increase while the TRD BBK give 0%. With my brakes, you get a very light brake pedal. Parking brake is gone... I even took the cable out. The Lexus IS250 has a drum brake type parking brake...that could be adapted to this "kit". I was not willing to put in the work to attach a parking brake...I just don't think a parking brake is needed at all.
I've got a set of Lexus F-Sport 6-piston calipers (used for several months) for the front that I would sell to you for $500 each. These are for the IS250 and give no brake torque increase for the tC2. They would require StopTech 2-piston caliper for the rear. The 4-piston ones are just too strong to get the brake balance/bias right on this car with these IS250 6-piston calipers.
