2015 tC New Tires
So I have a stock 2015 and my tires are starting to get close to needing replacement. I bought the car certified pre-owned and the dealer put on a set of Continental PureContacts before I took delivery. Wasn’t very impressed initially. On the first drive home I noticed a significant shimmy and after 3 visits for balancing, ended up having to replace two of the tires due to them being out of round. Car rode great but now they are at 4/32 and now transmit a LOT of road noise into the car. I’m ready to replace due to them also hydroplaning around 55+ mph.
I’ve been looking at these as replacements:
Michelin Primacy MXM4
Yokohama Avid Ascend
Bridgestone Potenza RE97AS-02
I’ve read great things about the Yokohama’s and the Michelin’s I know are great tires because my brother had those as stock tires on his 2014 Camry SE V6 and those lasted him 60,000 miles. The Bridgestones are fairly new but the few reviews I’ve read have been fairly positive.
Just curious if if anyone has any experience with these tires or if there are any other tires that work well with our cars. I’m mainly looking for something that has a solid/stable feel on the highway, doesn’t emit much road noise, and has decent wet traction/hydroplaning resistance.

If known, I always recommend using the OEM Tires as your Baseline for Replacement Tires.
My 2015 RS9 came with Toyo Proxes PXA20 Radial Tire - 225/45R18 91W.
With 25,000 miles they are at 4/32nd tread remaining. They do meet the criteria of solid/stable feel on the highway,
doesn’t emit much road noise, and has decent wet traction/hydroplaning resistance.
I also like they have a Rim Guard Shoulder that protects your Rims.
They are Pricey but, worth it.

They normally go for about $325 if you can find them. Last March I had a Sidewall Cut on one of the Fronts causing a slow leak. I found someone who Sold me one for $139.94 New.
He had 8 in Stock. If I was smart I should had bought 5 of them. Actually. if I was really smart I should have bought all 8 of them. That was a Great Price. No one came close.
