Default TRD 19 inch wheel color mismatch

tC Owners!!! If you are buying the 19 inch 7-spoke TRD rims, take a look at them before they are mounted. I recently bent a rim on an unmarked pot hole (a friend that I was following also hit the same hole and lost a hub cap.) I got a replacement from McGeorge and the replacement doesn't match. I am currently working with someone at McGeorge to resolve the issue with Scion, but it's just something to keep in mind. Make sure all 4 match before you have them mounted. It could be a major pain in the ___.

An update for anyone interested. I have been working with Paul from McGeorge to resolve the issue. He had TRD search their warehouses for a better match. I received it and while a bit closer to matching, the original wheels are still a lighter shade of gray. I am awaiting his response as to what the next step may be. I'm hoping that if they can't match the lighter one, that they can swap out the remaining light ones with the new darker color. Such a pain in the rear.

Paul at McGeorge is the man though. He's been super helpful and seems genuinely concerned with fixing the problem.

I just bought my 2013 tC and it has the darker TRD 19" wheels. The older ones were lighter? I think the darker ones look good. I hope they will replace them all for you. Keep posting.

After a couple of tries at getting a matching one, I had a friend of mine repair the original. I had also curbed one that I had him fix as well. I now have 4 matching and a spare just in case.

No. The 1g tC has a 5x100 bolt pattern whereas the 2g has a 5x114.3 bolt pattern.
