Default Trying to find 18x8.5" hyper black or black chrome light wheels

Hi folks,

I have a black Scion tC so would like to avoid silver wheels, which I think look awful on a black car, so my goal is to find hyper black (kind of a shiny gray), black chrome, or some other non-shiny silver wheels, preferably at the 18x8.5" size. If you have any suggestions (which make/model/offset) to get, that would be appreciated. Required weight is no more than 22 pounds.

Also, if I could get silver wheels, that would open up a whole slew of new choices, and I'd like that extra flexibility, but only if I could be assured of the practicability of painting the wheels at minimal increase in weight, and that doing so wouldn't cause any problems.

Help me out folks?

Thank you,

-John

I believe rota has some wheels that come in a hyper silver like finish as well.

Hi PEwilly9,

Thank you for your help. Neither manufacturer lists specs at their web site, could you help me with that, maybe tell me what they weigh?

Thank you.

Konig Milligrams, they come in black, gold and silver. MAT construction liscensed by Enkei.. 18.8 lbs each. I love the difference they made in performance and have been very durable. See my sig for wheel & tire specs..

Found mine on E-Bay for 900 shipped.
Konig also makes a Kilogram wheel I like, but it is a little more expensive.

^^ Yep, they sell the XXR 527's in a bronze finish that is sweet on a black ride. I would have bought those but they are always out of stock on them. Plus my wheels are much better build quality, well worth a few hundred more dollars. I still prefer the look of the 527 though.

These are +35 offset, the +20 offset will fit easily too. They list the weight as 21.2lbs. aprox.
These I def. like! I need to quit looking before I want to buy another set...

what would the difference in look and fitment be for the xxr 530's at:

18x8.75 +20 or +35 (which better for flushness)

and how about

18x9.75 +20

Errol had the 527's 8.75 width in +20 and had a very little amount of poke in the front and the rear was just flush.

No with his 527's he was 18x8.75 all around... when he switched to the 521's was when he went staggered.
