One thing he did tell me was I should be looking for an offset between 35 and 45 and these came in a 35 off set. So I figured the issue was the 18x8.75 vs the stock 18x7.5 and that my stock tire wouldn't fit the wheel but he said no the wheel itself wouldn't fit and I'd need to drop a wheel size. He told me no higher than 18x8.

If you're all telling me that I'm safe and this will fit I think I'm going to call the other Tire City nearby since this guy either doesn't know much or just didn't want to be bothered to help me.

wheel will fit no problem

the tire on the other hand will have to be just slightly stretched since its spec'ed for up to 8.5 but ppl put em on 9.5" and are just fine

Hey guys, im going to go ahead an post here. I think i can answer my own question but i wanna be sure and get a few opinions. I have bee lookin at Enkei RP03's in the special Brilliant coating finish. The only problem is that nobody has them in the size, width, offset i want. the only ones i have found: please take in to consideration that I will be dropping on Ksports whenever the come to earth and stretching stockies for now.

18 x 9 +15
correct me if im wrong but will these POKE POKE POKE out front and be decently flush in the rear?

they also offer in the wheel in silver and have these sizes:

18 x 8.5 +30/+35
18 x 9 +18/+40
18 x 9.5 +38

I would prefer 9" width due to them being 18.3 lbs all others are 21lbs

thank for any advice gents!

How does stretching the tire affect it over time? Would I be better off going with a different tire or is it no big deal to keep the stocks?

stretching it 0.25" is virtually nothing...

Thanks a lot. I appreciate your patience with my ignorance on these matters. I like to do my research. Especially when I'll be spending hundreds of dollars. Don't want to screw myself because I wasn't informed. I've been reading around trying to soak in what I can so I'm not completely clueless. I'm gonna call the other tire place and see about getting these bad boys installed. From what I hear these are on back order so I may have to wait a while.lol

you can compare all these to the ones on the first page and see how flush it looks in ppls threads

9.5 is a clear winner....wide tires will provide more grip and better handling and will look sick

also staying pretty much at stock offset means handling will not degrade

u can always add spacers.....

but if you get a wheel thats too low of an offset then you stuck with it....

ok, YET ANOTHER QUESTION!!! im tryin to make a statement over here in NE but i fear that i may be a lil too ambitious. the current wheel i am looking at is:

19x9.5 +35 with maybe a 1.5" lip (at most). im just curious if thatll fit all the way around. i would expect some stretching and some fender pulling, BUT...would it fit u think?

You should be fine. I put in pictures of my tC. the wheels are Lorenzo 20x9.5 +35. You can see the fitment is perfectly flush. I am running a 225/35 tire
so you can see I have a decent stretch. I, too have KSports on the way and I intend to utilize the full drop. At full drop you will need rolled fenders.
Hope this helps.

I do not have any rubbing. I have like 2 inches clearance when I turn my front wheels all the way. The only clearance issues you may have depending on the tire you use it the strut up front. but that should be erased with the coils as they should be skinnier then the strut that is there. Also keep in mind unless you make a set a A-RUCA that you will have significant camber in the back. Not sure the look you are going for. I like camber but keep in mind that if you take a stretched tire and then ad some negative camber that you are going to lower the contact patch significantly which will lower your handling.

I am not worried about that since I have a fairly big stretch I cant go into corners extremely fast anyways....I am going for a "low and slow" look

I too am looking for that CHILL STANCE, stayin low, creepin by. I feel like having 19's will help eliminate some of the camber issues but i dont really knw. I cant wait to see what these ksports do to your ride!
