Yuriy, you might want to add this to the first post. i found it VERY useful

http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

it has both rims and tires specs....the way i did it was compare the stock wheels/tires (225/45-18x7.5+35) so whatever wheel/tire combo i want

it gives u measurements in mm and in....the diagram changes as you change the options (including the offset)

it has weight, circumference, revs per mile, odo reading, and if it clears (based on general assumptions)

...the only it doesn't do is stretched tires (obviously). if the tire or wheel is to big for the other, it will automatically adjust.

yea not sure...i was also hoping that if they had backspacing they would also have front

but either way...i just looked at it as a comparison to stock. like if their back spacing is X mm off from stock...is that X mm enough to cause a problem or no?

20x8.5+38
20x10 custom offset (i think its +40)

fits with no issues, no fender rolling...just stretched tires (and not crazy stretched either)

...but there was still room, so i could actually fit a bigger tire size so its not so stretched. i'm sure the rear could have gone 255 or maybe 265 and still have no issues

Default Tires?

Hey guys, been cruising these threads trying to get some new shoes. This thread is really helpful as far as wheel size, but I'm having a hard time finding tire info in addition to it. I understand I can fit a 9.5 wheel on, but I'm unsure of tire size that will fit with no problems. I will roll fenders if I have to but if not, all the better. Basically my question is this, I'm on TRD springs and looking to put on a 19x9.5 +32, and a 255/35/19 tire (I don't want to stretch). Will this be alright? I see 2tc has 19x9 with +40 and the same tire size but my wheels will be poking out about 1.4 cm more between the offset and the additional width, so I'm wondering if that difference will potentially be a problem. Thanks for the help.

rear should be fine

front you will occasionally rub

since you said you're fine with rolling fenders i dont think you'll have any issues

maybe get sway bars so the springs dont compress as much during cornering and therefore dont cause rubbing

Yuriy,

I went 19x8.5 +30 on wheels
245/35/19 on tires
TRD drop
Can you confirm its a perfect fit? I'm pretty sure it is. Just want to be sure.

Thanks!

Great! According to Nittos website, 245 is the widest we can go on a 19 inch wheel. I got the NT05's. Wanted grip for the turbo setup. The tires i have now suck, so i've been taking it easy. Keep spinning tires on my auto between shifts which is no good for tranny. I went with a five:ad rim. I should have them on tomorrow if all goes as planned. My wife threw a wrench in the plans but i'm gonna try to maneuver around that one to get them installed!!!

Just looked at others with trds and they never complained about rubbing with the same or greater from space so I think front may not rub at all

I hope u got 5 spoke gun metal ones or the new s7 but still gun metal ftw!

And I think u meant to say 8.5 rim is suggested to have 245 tire not all 19 rims
Ppl with 19x9 usually get 255
I got 235/40 because I wanted mire sidewall

I'm hoping i don't have to drop lower so i can, 1. save money and 2. eliminate some of the fender gap i have.

You're hopes have been realized. I indeed did go with the R5:F's in gunmetal. I've been wanting them since i first saw them. I ended up buying my enkei's on impulse. Hoping to have the new shoes on tomorrow.

Should've been more specific on the width. That is what i meant.

So i looked through this thread, but the calculation is mainly for 18" wheels. I am still not comfortable going out and buying wheels so I wanted to run it by you guys and see if this will fit out cars. I'm currently driving an 11 tC2 and the wheels I'm looking at are these:

http://esmwheels.com/access/esm-004-sl-19-p-99.html

I was particularly looking at the 19x9.5 and was wondering which offset i need to get. I would like them to be as flush to the body as possible. I'm not the biggest fan of wheels sticking out a lot. Thanks in advance.

size of rim dont matter, as long as you keep the same overall tire diameter

go with +40 for safety to make sure you dont rub in the front, you also never mentioned if you gonna lower the car/roll fenders/stretch tires

After you get +40s you can always space em out to make the flushness perfect
