I was in a fender bender last night and need a new bumper cover. I found an '05 for dramatically cheaper on eBay than an '06, everything looks like it lines up, but I was hoping somebody can confirm.

You could always go to one of the Toyota/Scion OEM parts vendors online and look at the part number for an '05 vs. '06 bumper cover. My guess...they're the same.

Based on some other posts found at the bottom of this one it looks like the grills might be different but apparently people have been able to modify them.

 

I have personally never tried swapping them over but the front end didn't change, the brackets are the same, the headlights are the same shape, the bumper and width of the car overall are identical, really the only difference is the design of the bumper with the grilles and the fog light covers. From my junkyard experience though, the mounting brackets are identical, and the bolt holes are as well, additionally like I said the designs didn't stray from the 2004 too much, hope this helps!
