and the halogen brights are way dimmer then the normal bights on a dual filment bulb

Yes, this H4 installed in this xA was our H4 Reg. Hi/Lo. So the high beam would be dimmer than the low beam. Due to low beam runs on HID bulb and high beam on halogen bulb. Only our Bi-Xenon would the high beam be the same brightness as low beam, both on HID bulb.

yes i know the hid are brighter then the halogen brights

but thats not what i was getting at

shouldnt this be in the DYI section. This is how the forum gets flooded. People constantly finding ways to sell crap.

I just got my HIDextra 5000k H4 kit the other day and I'm a bit confused. I have read that you have to swap positive and negative wires someplace to get it to work with Scion cars. The extra instructions page included says to swap around the ones at the OEM three prong harness to ballast connector because bulbs are different, but that sounds weird, i thought all H$ bulbs were the same polarity? Do you flip the big two-prong connector where it plugs into the ballast? even though the ballast is labeled + and -?
I wish somebody could enlighten me, i dont want to blow up my ballasts or bulbs.
