Default How can i make it look better without breaking the bank

16 year old here just got his first car and I want it to look alright.
Hubcaps are going asap. what else could I do? I dont want it to be hard to sell when it comes time because if I rice it out like mad, it wont appeal to everyone in the market for a car.

Never mind. I just googled tint jobs on scions and they look alright. I've just recently seen a couple of couple of badly matched paint/tint colors and they didnt look nice.

Depending on what your roads are like you could do lowering springs for $130.00 - $230.00.

Well my driveway is very weird and you will scrape the bottom if you dont pull out at an angle on any car. My stepmom has a 350z that is like rocket sciece the get out of our driveway. I would park on the road if i lowered it but out neighborhood office whines about that. So i couldnt drop it too much. unless i air-rided it but that gives it a smaller resale market

you don't get colors. you go with a normal tint, you just choose the darkness. go to a good shop not a cheap one and you will be perfectly fine. and as far as asking if you should drop it or not and etc. it is all your choice and preference, everybody has different opinions and will tell you different things. basically the only same opinions you will get here are to tint and get lowered.

I guess what i meant by that was i saw a car that was red and rather old (1990's) the other day and it looked aweful. just plain black tint too but it just didnt work. Anyways how much would you pay for a tint job? $200?

My wife has a xA
If on a budget
1. Decent new wheels $120.00 ea=$480.00
+ speed balance/install about $80.00-$100.00

2. Window tint for 3 back windows should runs abound $125.00 or less in our area
3. Before dropping the car + spending $$. I would install an amplified sub woofer. I put in 10" Infinity Bass Link $200.00 using the stock speakers/radio in the Xa, sounds good, easy install.

Xa is now "HOT" on a $900.00-$1,000.00 budget.

PS I find 99% that buying things online with shipping are cheaper than buying at a local store + you also save by not needing to pay tax if it is an out of state purchase. You just need time to surf the internet sites for the best price.

Good Luck.........

If you're worried about cost, and want something quick. Stainless trim rings dust caps for the steelies are a nice touch. Beats hubcaps and way cheaper than rims. The tint is great though. Looks good, and keeps the car a bit cooler since summer's coming up.

I also agree about the tint as an easy first step.

I also enjoy HID headlights on mine a lot. And I got some decent seat covers - about $200.

I went with coil overs for the drop, and It does improve the look and handling, but its not cheap and makes for a little harsher ride.

enjoy your xA!

personally, tint windows, lower it, new wheels with low profile tires, eyelids. it will be expensive but it will look good (at least I think so).
PS your front grill is sick, i have wanted one for a while.

heres mine just for fun
