Oem carbon fiber hood?
 

Ive used the search icon but only found stuff for the xb and tc. Anyone know where i can get a good price for one?

it would not be Original Equipment Manufacturuer but After Market. i doubt that toyota makes carbon fiber hoods for us.

do a google search. seibon makes one. i know that others do like this place:

you mean OEM style... there's plenty of those around... ^like he said, seibon manufactures OEM cf hoods. i think ebay has some too.

motor-fx makes a great hood.
Bbist makes a double sided one.
Both are very nice.

I just ordered the motor-fx carbon fiber hood from www.fastscions.com

they have great prices and amazing customer service. Once the hood comes in and i install it i'll post pics so you can see how it looks. Do you ( person above me) have any pics of the one you ordered? or have you not recieved it yet?

I ordered mine i think 2 or 3 days ago. The guy said it should be here thursday of next week.

i got mine from motor fx. i'm very happy with it.

just dont get VIS. the fitment is bad...

i ended up getting a vis due to issues with motor-fx( or so the company i bought through said) and it fits perfectly. So I don't know what car you say fitament is bad on, but for the xa's, the VIS Racing carbon fiber hood fits perfect.

btw, i was apparently mistaken about the seibon hood. they do make hoods, but, i am sad to say, not for the xa .

if you look around on the xa exterior forum, somebody is supposedly in the design stages of a hood that they will hopefully be selling eventually.
i would really like a reverse cowl hood for cooling and weight reduction.

^^ yes, that one might be nice, but hard to tell from above. have yet to see it on a car.

yea that is why i just went with an OEM Style CF hood. But that hood looks good there, but it might look totally different on a car.
