hey guys i have a couple of quick questions. I am rebadging the xa over to a ist.
1. Can the front scion logo be replaced without having to buy a new grill?
2. How do you pronounce ist?
3. What is a cheap online store that i can order the badges from?

 

1) yes, you need a new grill. guy locally has it done.
2) pronounced as it sounds
3) never looked into rebadging the box, but the guy that did his ist bought it all on ebay, got excellent deals there.

your 06 will not take the Ist grill that fits an 03-05. I don't think there's any imported 06 Ist grilles at this time. The back badges will work though.

 

i wouldnt change to the ist 06 front grille if i were u....the logo up front is just yuck! (to me).... but if u really want to chage to the jdm look...then get those sports grille instead.... and smack a toyota logo up front instead...

 

Several other aftermarket badges come up besides the ist and Toyota/ Lexus icons. There is a very close likeness to the logo (badge) for the Oster brand of kitchen appliances, tosters among other things. and there is an aftermarket badge for Lexus that is basicly a large X and sell for like $45 for chrome or bronze. the link is : www.lextasy.com/lexus_emblems_35_ctg.htm
Any internet search for Oster will display their logo/emblem.

One of those (X) emblems would look nice in place of the Scion logo on the rear hatch of my xB. :D

u'll get a cool lookin "7" by turning the L on the lexus logo upside down....

 

that (X) logo would look sick on my sXe iSt (Pronounced eest-oo in Japanese, but let the "oo" kinda fall off, like an afterthought)

MoaiD, is that an actual iSt (bought that way), and if so, left hand drive?

does the "X" fit exactly on our rear? i asked them but no reply.... looks cool!!... time to replace my scion badge...

 

The "X" badge is supposed to exactly replace the Lexus badge and from what I have seen they are the same size. Would like to be able to replace front and rear badges on my xA, how hard would the front badge be to replace?: BTW nice wheels what kind are those and what are the spec's on them?

 

the front badge u gotta replace with the whole damn grille... tho i've seen some scion with toyota badge... i guess it can be popped out...

wheels are 15-6 offset 30...but i got shims in front and OTG ones at the rear....its some replica which i am not too sure of the name... in fact i got them on me for a week only.... got it replaced yesterday.. somehow i just didnt like it... well even the new one kinda not much too my liking.. i'll snap some shots to show u....

 

so does anyone know what toyota emblem will fit on the front grill in place of the scion emblem?
