Default Replacement headlights for xa

Does anyone know the best place to get replacement headlights for xa. I have seen some on eBay around $170.
I was just wondering if someone has found a better place to get them. I need to replace them. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Depends upon whether you are looking for OEM replacements or aftermarket...I've got an xB but I found the lights I wanted and got a part number and then ended-up 'Googling' that part number. You might be able to find them on eBay, Amazon or some other parts vendor.

Hard to say without a more definite idea of what you want.

Default Headlight assemblies replaced!

received my Rockauto shipment yesterday and I installed both driver/passenger last night. Depo was the manufacturer. Took me more time than it should’ve because I didn’t rewatch the video before I did it. The bulbs take a bit of work to install and the old rubber covers provide much better access to the electrical harness. The bulb resting clips were questionable though I made it work on the passenger side by force

New headlight assemblies

What is the difference between 2006 and 2004/2005 headlights ?
Manufacturer Part Number
8110652450, 8110552450
Vs
Manufacturer Part Number
81130-52651 / 81170-52641

Has anyone ever installed a 2006 headlight into a 2004 xA or the other way around, can I install 2004 a headlight into a 2006 xA ?
Reason I am asking the 2006 headlights are a lot more expensive.

I have read many times that this forum is not very active. Have been watching the view counter rising ( Profile - My Posts ) and come to a conclusion, not to many people participating.
Have owned many cars, some oddball, still own some of those, I belong to many forums, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, VW, Puma, Diesel. They each attract a certain group of people.

Back to my original question, this had to have come up before, with the 2006 xA being restyled. ( I did search and read countless post regarding front end parts interchange, grill, bumper )
Do the 2006 headlights interchange with the earlier 2004 / 2005 ?

I'm not certain but I don't think they do.
I got my new ones on eBay and they have been great.
Just saying.

Thank you for sharing Pap.

I am just being cheap and don't want to spend double for the 2006 headlights. I know, I know, hey its 2024 and times are different.

Would you recommend Depo (Rockauto) at $81.79 a side vs OEM at $148.80 a side?

Depo makes petty decent stuff, so if you want to save $150-ish, I don't think it would be a horrible choice. But, that being said, nothing fits like OEM.
