Anyone got latest info on when 2006 Scion xA will be released I'm waiting for this one since last 2 months

Be ready to wait another two months. The dealers i talked to said late August, September.

 

it was discussed on here that they'll go into production on 7/04/05 and be brought to dealers late july or early august...only an estimate of course

 

The guy at my dealrship said realistically October or November before they get to showrooms, at least here.

The girl I overheard at my dealership said the 06 xA was going to be late August/early September. She also said the 06 xB's will be cheaper than the 05 xB's. Didn't say anything about the xA's price. Oh well, i already got my 05 xA, i'll just deal with it. ^.^

If you read the other articles, the prices are going to go up about two hundred bucks.
But by way of the new additions to the model, it would come out cheaper to get the new one instead of adding the features to you old car.

whatever you do wait and wait it out...the 06 xa is adorable......good luck

 

i don't think she is that wrong. yes the cars are being shipped to dealerships this week but do take into account the wait time at the dock, the transpacific journey, inspection on our side of the dock, the journey from the dock to dealerships. all this take time. i say by august or sept the earliest...

Not in an evily intention maner I hope you are wrong. I want my car soon so I get to enjoy it for a while now that I just have a part time as opposed to latter when I start my full time job.

Well also the anxiety is giving me ulcers LOL, you know first car illusions...........................................

I don't know where you are at but in CAT (Central Alantic Toyota, or MD, PA, WVA,VA, Dc, DEL) we wont see the 2006 xA's & xB's till late Aug or early Sept, they are making them right now (in Japan) but it takes a bit of time to get them here, we haven't even been allocated any 06's yet, when we do they will be 3 - 6 weeks away next allocation in on the 15th after that the 1st ....

 

not cheaper but $200 more...although the time is about right

Don't why they reported that they were coming next week ....misprints do happen....and maybe in Cali they will get them next week ...I don't think so but who knows

don't expect to see the '06 xa until sept or later. my local dealer said deakers are expecting 50+ '05 xas coming to the ny port for distribution in the "eastern zone" this and next week.

 

That is ok, I am in a different region. My dealer is in the plains which is a little bit close to Cali than yous..........LOL for whatever that might help......



I will give then a call tomorrow and talk to Eric. If I find something novel or a "leak" (since it seems to be a ford a la mode in politics lately) i will informe you.
