Do I need a different mass air flow?

 

I'm not an expert on this, but on the 6 forum, most of the people who complained about a CEL due to a CAI found that it was because there was more airflow than the MAF was used to reading.

It would probably help if you posted the code that you're getting.

 

what brand of CAI do you have?

 

Its a generic from eBay. I had a scan tool put on. Its definitely the mass air censor. I don't know anything about this.

Basically yes

 

I took the mass air censor back out and noticed it was dirty. Cleaned it with some mass air cleaner. So far no more CEL!

 

CEL came back on after I hit a small bump. Its obvious that movement of the intake is causing the issue with the mass air censor. Everything is tight and in the correct place. Any Suggestions? I'm about to just put the stock intake back on.

 

well you did buy an ebay brand intake, i never had that problem when i had a name brand intake system.

not really an easy fix with that intake setup

 

I'll never buy another one. I took it off today.
