Not getting power to passenger backup light
I have a 2005 xA base model with a backup light that isn't getting power at all. We checked the fixture with a multimeter after first having tried to change the bulb with no result. My other backup light works fine, so we know it's not a fuse or the relay switch from the computer. It's just not getting power to that one fixture, everything else on that tail light works fine too.
So I'm pretty sure it's the wiring harness but I can't seem to find a wiring harness that isn't listed for 2006 and up, and the tail lights look different from 05 to 06 so I am unsure it will wire the same. Will the wiring harness for the 06 work on the 05 lights? I have posted to reddit and no one seems to have answers...
I need to know asap cause I work a night time driving job.
[and YES I KNOW my xA is Salsa Red and that didn't come out till 06, but my car is an 05. My dad had it repainted from the Indian Ink back in the day so the biggest tell is my black trim and the tail lights.]
