Subcode's Phantom xA

This months featured ride is Mike Jett's (aka Subcode) xA. He is not stranger to Scion Life and you can expect to see post and pictures of any of his new mods that he eagerly shares with all xA owners.
"I love my Scion and going by what I have done in the last nine months of mods and then feening over what I could and couldn’t afford to do to my car I would say it has become an obsession.
When I’m into something, that's what it becomes…."

Why did he buy this car?

"Well, it plain just looks cool….It’s sporty and modern looking, and small. When I first saw one on the dealer lot…I said to myself: Yeah that’s the car I will be driving.
At that time I was driving a used Honda and then it needed to be replaced because of a broken transmission. I went straight to the Scion dealer and got my first xA."

Mike continues, "Looking back I was stoked driving it home. Before long I had rims, then I lowered it, and then I found this web site, start talking to other owners about this type of new car.
Then I start going to the meets and then the shows, sponsorships soon followed. I noticed it was really cool turning peoples head and answering their questions.
The typical question…”what are these cars called?” Every one here knows how much that happens!"

"In February I lost my first Scion xA to an accident, 2 days later I bought another one and soon got back into customizing my car, So far this is what’s in and on the car..."

As you can see, he's been putting in a lot of effort into fixing this car up and it probably wouldn’t be where it’s at in this stage of customization without the aid of friends, sponsors and his car club Scion Evolution.
Mike just recently won 3rd place Scion Street at Extreme Autofest, Las Vegas, So at this point he's really getting closer to his goal of having a great looking xA…
"I really want to expose the xA to more peeps and with winning any trophy in a contest brings more attention to my car. I hope I can bring more xA owners to meets and car shows and provide a forum of support for this car -- the Scion xA."
