Get NGK or Denzo Irridiums, if you can handle $6-7 per plug! I'd like to hear from those 300K guys as well..... where are they?? |
2004 Xa 202K and counting. Have used Amsoil since I bought it with 40K.
Replaced original battery last January. 2 coil packs this past year. Also use Amsoil tranny fluid in this automatic. Changed 2 times since I have had it. Needs the cat changed. Toyota wants $1000 for the job. Been putting it off. I drive 30 - 35K each year. |
I've got 298,876 miles on my 2004 xA. So far all is well.

'04 Scion xA
320,000+ Just had to get my MAF sensor changed. I was converting my short ram intake back into a CAI and i moved the part of the pipe that had the sensor. It was enough to bust my old one haha. Not much to report since my last post @ 300,000. Not putting that many miles on my car anymore. Only thing I will need to get replaced soon is my passenger side bearing. I think I've replaced all four already, thanks to the Tein springs. I think stiffer suspension takes it toll on the bearings. Other than that added some new toys inside. A phone mount for my car - http://www.flickr.com/photos/saechan...n/photostream/ - and the Garmin EcoRoute - http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/us/services/ecoRoute. Tells me all the fun info for my car (instake temp, coolant temp, etc) that our gauges don't tell us xA drivers. Also helped me diagnose my MAP sensor since the engine check light came on and it told me that it was the MAP sensor. Keep on driving! Love my xA. :) |
2005 xA Release 1.0 #393 just purchased 2 weeks ago.....
Right now it has 1180 miles. When we drove it off the lot at the dealer it had 863. Yep, 2005, 6 years old and just turned over 1180 miles.
|
221,000. So far all I've changed is the water pump. Hard to complain.
|
My girl's xA has 42xxx and going strong, slightly rough idle sometimes though.
