Default Humming/grinding noise from passenger side front wheel area

Hope someone can brainstorm this with me. I am getting a humming/grinding noise and vibration from the passenger side front wheel area. I removed the wheel, the brake assembly and the rotor and looked for obvious things such as a loose wheel bearing, loose or torn boot or rubbing from anything like the dust shield. Nothing. Here is the really interesting part. The noise/vibration only happens when I am turning left between 25 and 40 mph, whether I am in gear or not. There is very minimal noise/vibration when going strait and absolutely none when turning right. Any ideas???

And just to be clear, this is on my 2005 xA with just a bit less than 131K on it.

I had the same problem, but from the rear passenger wheel. It was the wheel bearing, luckily the front ones are a lot cheaper than the rear ones.

To test your wheel bearing, take it off the car, hold one side firmly in your hand, and slowly spin the other, if it feels like there's dirt or sand in it, it's bad.

Thanks man...like I said I tried the normal tests for a bad wheel bearing...and with really no results...but at the same time have eliminated any other option...the only thing I think of is that is is just starting to go bad...instead of buying a bearing and having to get it pressed in I think I will just buy a whole new hub assembly with the bearing in place already...only trouble is that so far I have only found hub seperately...bearings seperately....and hubs and bearins sold together but not pressed...know anybody parting out an xA?

definitely sounds like your front wheel bearings man! it's sometimes hard to confirm for sure, but it sounds like it would make the most sense!
