As someone who uses my turn signals for everything I was distressed to see the rapid turn signal indicator on the dash blinking wildly last night. Thinking this was a routine bulb replacement, I replaced the bulb. Still didn't work. Swapped the bulb to make sure it worked on the other side: it did. Checked the fuse - fine. Checked every fuse: fine. Any ideas?

brake lights still work too?
