Please identify this sensor!
Hey all,
I just purchased a used scion xA as a second car for the family. I noticed that a sensor mounted to the left side of the air cleaner box has one of two wires severed. The two wires are black and white. (the black one is severed right at the wire connector.
I know the sensor is NOT the "Mass Air Flow Sensor," but what is it? I can't find it on any diagrams,
Although it is mounted to the air cleaner cover, it seems to also be attached to a hose coming up from the throttle body. Could this be a the "MAP" sensor?
Strangely enough, there is no check engine light on.
Questions:
• What sensor is this?
• How do i fix the cable if is broken off the clip?
• How can I find and replace that clip?
