Default Scion Xa Fan Problems, Please help!

Hi guys,
So I bought this scion xa 2004 recently and first I noticed that the fan only worked when I turned the **** all the way to the high to defrost my windows. Then I realized that its same thing with the A/C as well. Now sometimes even when I turn the **** all the way to high nothing happens, the fan does not even turn on. After a while it starts but then stops again after running for some time.
I need to get it fixed for cheap.
Please help!
Thank you

If the **** is working then it sounds like you may need a new blower motor

Thanks for the reply,
So after my research, I feel like its the blower motor resister. Do you know if it could be just the resister or the blower motor itself?

I tapped under the glove box and it started working again on high. But I do want it to work on all speeds.

Ok I ordered a resistor and it came today. I saw a youtube video of someone showing how to replace the resister on xb(I couldn't find any for xa). I thought it was going to be same location for xa so I opened something under the glove box but I could not find the resister anywhere.
Can anyone please tell me how to replace the resister in xa and where is it located please.
Thanks
