Default spacers and shims on xa

hey i just bought a shim kit and a pair of wheel spacers from onetonegarage.com. I m just curious if any other xas are running them and how they look. Im running some small 16x7 wheels but hopefully the spacers and shims will push em out some.

Which spacers did you get from onetongarage..the 5mm or 10mm? I was planning to get the 10mm ones but i hear that you need to change the existing wheel studs to longer ones?

I'm probably going to get the 10mm shims for the back...then work from there. I asked Van and he said he's thinking about putting 5mm shims all around on his sister's xA. She already has his 10mm shims in the rear.

NO, the one ton garage spacers push out the entire hub, it doesn't affect the studs at all. I just got the 10mm put on the rear of my xB. It makes a big difference in appearance, IMO, more than 10mm seems like it should...

That's one of the main reasons I went with the One Ton Garage spacers, It seems like a much safer setup than adding spacers to the outside of the brakedrum...

I actually just paid for them yesterday..i havent got them yet, sorry about the mislead. But I was just curious if anyone was running BOTH the shim kit and a pair of 10mm spacers in the rear...i bought both and im planning on running both.. is it too much you think...i will find out this week.

I was asking about the 10mm spacers and not the 10mm rear shims. Mah bad to mislead you TheScionicMan. I wanted the 10mm spacers which go outside the brakedrums. In that sense, would i need longer studs?

8-10mm spacers will require longer bolts...5mm is OK though...this is from experience with my xA

TheScionicMan: Where did you buy the one ton garage spacers? How much? How was the install?

I currently have 5mm wheel spacers and it still needs to be pushed out more.
