Default Sucking nose after I shut my car off

I have a 2005 xA automatic with 144,800 miles on it and whenever I shut my engine off it makes a sucking sound for about 1 second.

Is this normal?

Thank you.

Welcome, and no, the xA does not suck at all. Lol, will need lots more information before any assistance. Where is the noise? Inside the cabin or under the hood? All the time or just now and then? If all the time can you pinpoint location ? Some things to check would be vacuum line on brake booster, air pocket in cooling system, low coolant, dirty intake filter etc....
location of noise will really help.

sounds more like a vacuum line and the only ones there is, one goes to the brake booster and the others are for emissions, but you'd be throwing codes if it was emissions

mine would make the sound with the factory airbox. i think he is referring to the last bit of air that gets sucked into manifold. i always thought it was kinda loud but thought i sounded cool too.

Make sure the inlet hose didn't come off the throttle body and make sure the filter housing is fully closed.
When I test run an engine with nothing on the throttle body I hear the same sound.
