Check out the RS-R. It has been discontinued so they are selling them for $100 when they normally go for $399

IS THERE a major difference in horsepower if i were to get a full cat back? i'm lookin for noise and horse but if it's only a horse or 2 added with the cat back i'll just go with the $100 axle back

EDIT: anyone selling a cat back?

you wouldn't see much more than a 3-5hp gain with a cat back,so i wouldn't expect more than 3hp from an axle back. i've figured out the expensive way, no matter your I/H/E set up you wont see much more than 10-15hp gain on a lil 1.5L like ours, and thats still pushing it! the only purpose i see in doing any set-up like this is to improve the tone, and maybe make the throttle a lil sharper on the response, unless ur turbo'd, then you'll see some better results.

but if your like me, you'll do all the mods just for the sake of modding your car anyways, its the thrill. getting rid of as much stock-ness as possible, and improving your ride, even if the results are meager!

personally if your not really in the market for a turbo or supercharger or at any substantial power gains, id work on getting some better springs, spacers, and struts to improve the handling!

Due to the design of the engine and the displacement no matter what you put in it for an exhaust you will never see a great improvement over 3-5HP unless you go with a forced induction set-up.

well not exactly. it keeps the incoming air cool but it def heats up quickly. Electric fans and a good rad mixed with regular upkeep keeps the engine from over heating.
It really depends on driving style. No matter if you have a stock system or open pipes, if you're revving it up to 4500 per shift then you got a problem down the line.

i like it. I was VERY and pleasantly surprised with the noise this makes (when i romp on it) and the speed increased. you probably wouldn't notice it if you never drove/rid in one, but damn i'm glad i got it. Exhaust is next. full cat-back flow master in a few weeks. need to save the pennies.

P.S. anyone know how to fix clear coat? i've got a few large spots that the clear coat is coming off, i need to fix it, it's making it ugly and i don't want it to be ugly >.< so ya any cheep way to fix it?
no quick and easy way. Needs to be wetsanded and recleared.

I just did a quick youtube search. Here's a quick diy

Hey all, found this video after searching for possible application of selectable S/C for the xA... Tell me what you think, of course w/o the NOS.
http://www.streetfire.net/video/leaf...-pull_7514.htm
the 1.5L should have better response than the honda due to smaller displacement and could use w/electric unit and voltage inverter(remote on/off and BOV)....lol if boosts to 7.1psi and additional 10-40HP...would be fun when wanted and normal performance w/o.
