Welcome to the family of RS1 owners.
My wife loves to ride with me in the RS1 just so she can watch all the people watching me (the car). It's just a burden we will have to live with ...

A few years ago I sold my rs 1.0 for vw passat. Well today I bought new rs 1.0 and selling my passat. My scion rs 1.0 was the best car I have ever owned. There is a old man around block from me with rs 1.0 I approached him and asked if he would sell me his car 34000 miles on it. He said yes So I am the proud owner of red devil 2 just happened hhis wife wanted to buy something bigger....can't believe I remembered my password for this site been years. And happy to be back. ~

Still have her and still love her!
I just love this car! I couldn't find anything I liked better... so just kept driving her. It was such a good investment. I still have people asking me about her... Alas, as of a month ago, she is being driven by my 16 year old (he was 7 when I first brought her home) and I have moved on to a Prius C. I wonder how may are still out there?

Still have mine as well and will keep it until the day I croak.
I've been away from SL for a long time, being in Germany for awhile. I haven't been able to do anymore mods and there's really no Scion kind of spirit here even though there's a good handful of xB's and tC's at the base I'm stationed at.
The winters here and also no access to a private garage to park my RS1 in have really done a job on my car. Corrosion has turned my once beautiful engine bay into a mess that'll probably require hours of polishing or replacing those parts. Any black pieces on the exterior are now faded, no matter how much care I put into trying to keep it original. Corrosion has wrecked my whole exhaust as well... I can't wait to get this car back to the states where I can get my hands on anything I want since a lot of part suppliers won't ship to APO addresses...

R 1.0
I still have mine and I'm so glad I fought for this one back in 2004 The dealer sold the first one that he got from under me and I raised heck so he found another one and brought it from St. Louis. I have never regretted it, it is the best money I ever spent on a new vehicle! I still get people asking what it is and saying how much they like it. I just hit 200,000 miles. I'm having a problem with the AC (first problem ever)so I'm hitting the lounge looking for help with that because I've read horror stories of people who replaced the compressor and still had the problem but other than that all I've done is routine maintenance. Getting ready to hand it off to my 16 year old next spring. She says she is sick of it and doesn't want it but 3 of her friends (and their moms) have said to be sure to contact them if we decide to sell it because they would love to have it. I think she is rethinking things LOL. I need a new stereo too LOL, but I have 6 CD's stuck in there I'm not giving up on yet!

My father in law sold it to me for 1k about two years ago. Gave it to my sister while she was in college.
Now its back to me as she just picked up a prius c.
2004 scion 198k miles, number 44(or was it 48 )
my now commuter car. Ive always like it for it sporty gas saving nature. The dash is lit up like a christmas tree, but mechanically everything is good.
