In case someone is looking for a manual in pdf, I was lucky to find one here https://www.toyotamanuals.org/. The source includes manuals for all Toyota models. I looked for a book first, but it turned out to be not easy to find one. And those I found were pretty pricey. Then guy suggested checking this online source. Now I have access to the manual anytime.

Those are owner's manuals, not repair manuals.

You can try checking the Internet Archive for a free PDF of the 2012 Scion iQ repair manual. It’s available for download and includes all maintenance and repair procedures.
