xA weekend projects?
anyone know of any quick, one or two day projects that cost less than $50 to do it yourself? I'm talking about quick little mods, like adding an arm rest, laptop hub, etc.
you can do headlight bulbs, a shift ****, wheel trim rings (if you have steelies that is), go to a Honda dealership and get an S2K antenna, do a Home-depot front lip, interior color lights.
You could do any of those for under $50 and most will take under an hour to do.

sorry but Ive never had to work with a car before so bear with me please :D
when I need to install anything electrical and am provided with wiring to do so, where do I plug it in? Do I just strip off some insulation from an existing electrical wire and get some juice that way, or are there special sockets already in the car?

Most electrical comes with the wires and you have places under the steering wheel to pop in rocker switches and make it look OEM.
What kind of fog lights can you get for $45? And do they have ones that look stock and fit in the stock spot?

There are quite a few foglights you can get for under $50 vs. the dealer ones for $200. Of course they won't be exactly plug and play since there is a bit of DIY involved with securing them in the holes and wiring, but in the end it will look better and save you quite a bit of money.
I paid for my Hellas 60 bucks shipped and installed them in two hours.

Could you elaborate a bit on the homemade cup lights? I'll def get to work on those and the home-depot lip
should be a good start to personalizing my car
thanks for all the input
*edit*
Also, I'm really interested in installing something like a laptop hub somewhere in the car, any ideas on how I might pull something like that? I intend on using one of Targus's $25 laptop pads as my base and then I'll expand outwards from there, maybe build a USB hub and wiring into the extra room next to the spare tire well
as always, ideas are welcome
